Just discovered this out-of-the-way super-casual little restaurant, but very much enjoyed it! Service was great, owner and staff very friendly. Fried chicken was excellent! Everything is cooked fresh to order. This is not a trendy restaurant...no kale, yogurt, or lattes. Good old basic comfort food: fried plates, hamburgers and po boys, huge salads, gumbo. Lunch specials daily. Will definitely go back!
An excellent and casual place to enjoy a top quality fresh meal. Hands down one of our favorite places to eat in Mandeville now. Our office enjoys lunch here at least once a week and our employees can't rave enough about it. We've had the salads, the burgers, the boudin balls, the shrimp on bun and even the grilled cheese with avocados and tomatoes will make you crave a return trip to Nan's.
Give this new place a shot, you won't be disappointed.
Truly a hidden gem. I go past this place almost daily and never knew it existed. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and quaint decor. The service and food were on point. Lots of potential for this place. I hope they think out of the box and make this place the place on the North shore.

What a little gem! The place is cute and the service is quick and friendly. The roast beef is AMAZING. It has just the right balance of salt and garlic and savory deliciousness. It is by far the best on the North Shore and, dare I say it, possibly the best in the metro area. Prices are reasonable and the homemade Mac and the sautéed Brussels sprouts are flavorful. We will be back soon!
