The dog park is very nice but hot. There isn't much shade and very few places for humans to sit.
OK, So I love Pelican Park. This review is for the Bark Park. There is a side for small dogs and a side for large dogs. There is a plastic pool for the dogs to cool off in the summer. The side for the small dogs is about half as big as the big dog side, so I guess, smaller dogs are not supposed to want to run around as much lol. Also, what if you have both, I wonder... I decided not to bring my dog after thoroughly inspecting the Bark Park because I was afraid he might get fleas from the other dogs, kind of like kids catch colds when you send them to preschool with a bunch of other kids ;)
Great place to go and do anything sports related, and a huge dog park. The people are very friendly. I recommend that you go.
There is a big dog aide and a small dog side. Its well fenced off. My dogs love it.
