My husband and I stayed for some R&R recently and were very disappointed. We never saw the owner, just an impersonal note guiding us to our room. The bed was miserably uncomfortable, the temperature was way too warm, and we had to serve ourselves breakfast, which I had to forage for in the refrigerator. We frequently stay at bed and breakfasts because we like the ambiance and homey feel, and we found this place to fail our expectations miserably. Would not recommend this place to others. Maybe this visit was out of the ordinary, but I think Shirley should have told me on the phone if I would not be receiving the expected services that a B&B offers.
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon night. This B&B was cozy, clean, comfortable and very very charming. The hostess was so kind and made us feel welcome, comfortable and special. We would highly recommend this place.
We stayed for our 25th wedding annievrsary,Shirley was great,told us about the numerous bars and restaurants that are all within walking distance!!!We will be going back!!!
