Our experience at AFD was one of the best we have ever had. Our salesperson, Christian, allowed me the freedom to browse alone without pressure, while being available anytime I had questions. When I was ready to make decisions, he spent hours with me answering questions and locating certain pieces of furniture I was looking for. It is obvious that this is a family owned business who will go over and above to make their customers happy and they expect that same work ethic in their employees. We will be back...there is nothing better than shopping in a place where there is a sense of family!
I bought my bed on Oct. 18, 2017. Just a few months later my wife was waking up every day with her back hurting. That is when we noticed that the mattress was sagging. We didn't purchase the mattress AFD. I contacted the mattress mfg. and was denied warranty 3 times because nothing was wrong with the mattress. After further inspection we realized that it was the bed slats on the bed frame that were sagging , so I then called AFD to see about having them replaced. I was told to fill out a warranty form online. I did and a week later still no response. I called them back and was told sorry you are 3 weeks out of your warranty... I tried to explain that this is a problem that we have BEEN dealing with and just figured out that it was their product that was causing the problem. Then they tried to sell me more expensive slats. After speaking with 2 warranty people (The second one hung up on me after I got a mad because they were trying to sell me new stuff instead of standing behind the product that they sell. I cursed...) I called back and asked to talk to the store manager and was put on hold for 30mins. That's when Kodi got on the phone. At first he seemed cool and said he would look into it and give me a call back the next day. No call by 2:30pm. I called back and was told Kodi was on the sales floor, and that I could leave a message. I did. No return call by 4:45pm, so I called back. Kodi came to the phone and said that he hadn't "Gotten A Chance" to get to it. However that must have been a lie since a few minutes later I was told that he spoke with one of the owners David, and he said they were going to offer me 50% off new slats but because I cursed on a prior phone call that now I'm being punished and get nothing...
I bought a 3 piece sectional from the outlet store for a great price on clearance! On our way back home one of the couches fell off the truck and was ruined. I was devastated that Id be left with only half of my sofa until I could afford to buy the piece full price online for almost as much as I spent on the whole couch. I went back to the store to see if they could do anything to help knowing it was final sale and the last couch they had. Low and Behold the only piece they had in the back was the one I needed and they sold it to me for an unbeatable price! I highly recommend coming here to buy furniture for your home. Great people and great prices, you wont be disappointed!

Tanya "T" at the Baton Rouge store is the best!!!! Great personality and great customer service. She took great care of me and she was like family by the end of the sale. I came back 2 days later and bought more furniture. Great experience and I highly recommend her and AFD.

Yes I got mad and cursed... Because instead of standing behind the product that they sell they would rather find any loophole to not help some one who spent THOUSANDS of dollars with them. Instead of replacing a part that probably cost them $15. I guess they would rather have bad reviews and unhappy customers. Just take a look at the rest of the reviews... I wish I had.
