Oh wow! Seriously the best bang for your buck. Lunch special, 3 course for $17! Juicy tender steaks for $17! Unbelievable.
Pat continues to do one of the best jobs with steak. Always perfectly cooked and seasoned. The soft shell crab is also outstanding.
The appetizer and Oyster Artichoke Soup was outstanding. My husbands steak was good but the highly recommended Pompano was barely edible. Not sure why the menu called this dish it's most popular but I will never order it again. It had a off putting fishy taste. I have to think not fresh. I saw many fried soft shell crabs going to other tables so I would go with that or a steak. Service was good but prices are way to high to not serve fresh tasting fish.
We had a great time for dinner. The food, service, and smells were very nice. I would go back for a special occasion, but I can't afford the prices, even as a monthly visit. The filet came out sizzling on the plate, the garlic mashed potatoes were awesome, and my wife really wants to go back for another date night.
First time dining at Pat Gallagher's 527 Restaurant. We went for lunch and the food was excellent. Lunch specials were fairly priced and delicious. We had the fried calamari starter. My dad had the tuna and scallops which he truly enjoyed. I had the Ahi tuna salad. Tuna was so good. Look forward to returning.
